Lunar Eclipse January 20-21, 2000 I viewed this eclipse at my home in Wayside Maryland. The night was very cold and windy, temperature in the 20's with northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. A few days before there was a light snow of about 1/2 inch. Had to setup telescope on east side of house to block the wind and I ran in an out to take pictures and view because of the cold. Focused the camera on Sirius before going to the moon and this worked out great. This was a dark eclipse and visually appeared brick red. William E. Rison
